Root 39 Salon & Spa Giving Back...
We would like to thank everyone who donated to our annual Giving Tree. With your donations we purchased books, toys, clothes and footwear for 50 children in our community. We have a large goal of 400 kids for next season!
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all of our guests who have donated as well as so many families outside of our salon community who have adopted our mission and made it their own. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! Additionally, we are grateful for those who helped shop and wrap for each of the kids we were able to assist!
Each of you has blessed us at Root 39 with your loving hearts.
Also, Thank you to all who continue to give to our Annual Giving Tree.
We believe in giving back to the community. We have raised and donated close to $100,000 for several benefits. The Call of the Wild Salon and Cocktail Competition and Bachelor auction was successful, raising over $5500 for Make-A-Wish, Trading Post and Women and Childrens Hospital.
This year, we have donated $1000 to the school of St. Aloysius in Springville, $400 to St. Jude Children's Research, $480 to the SPCA of Cattaraugus County, $480 to Christian Broadcasting Network, $100 to LOVE INC., $75 to the Lions Club, $330 cash to various charities around town and 10 gift baskets!
We strongly beleive giving back to our community and those in need is of the utmost importance.
In 2017, Root 39 Salon hosted it’s first annual COLOR CHALLENGE for all the WNY Boces Cosmetology students. We donated $1000 in color to area classes. Ashley Chase of Tracy Guntrum’s Ellicottville cosmetology class won a paid internship at Root 39 Salon. We will also be volunteering this year to proxy in the classroom, and helping with career day.

Stylists have donated their time for Relay for Life and The Trading Post. Our biannual Halloween Party was attended by more than 100 kids. Local salons pulled together to help one of our own in the "Joe The Barber" benefit, we were able to help Joe with $3,000 for wheelchair van access.
Our biggest accomplishment was a $60,000 spaghetti dinner fund raiser for the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital. The support for our local hospital was overwhelming. Other charities and events we have been involved in are Warm the Children, Queen for a Day, The Dairy Princess contest, and the BCH Fashion Show. Annually our clients have helped us help local families at Christmas time with our Giving Tree.
We are so grateful for all of those who donate so generously!
